Hey Lonoke family! I hope everyone has had a great week to this point. As you have probably heard, there is a possibility of winter weather Saturday night. While I am ready for Spring, some snow is nice EXCEPT for when it affects Sundays! I love our time together on Sunday mornings, but some things are completely out of our control.

As I am writing this update, Friday morning at Big Cuppa, they still are not sure about the definite amount of snow or the definitive track of the storm. Snow is hard to pinpoint until it happens. We will NOT make any decision concerning Sunday morning until Saturday night or early Sunday morning.

Our goal to have corporate worship together in person on Sunday morning. One of the hardest decisions for leaders of a church is to CANCEL our weekly time together. Pray for us to make the appropriate decision. The good news is our ability to Livestream. If you are not able to get out, you can still worship with us on Sunday morning from our Facebook Page or our Youtube page.

Here is what we are looking at for our options:

1. If the weather just gets ridiculous, then we will not have any means of service on Sunday morning. Enjoy that big snow with your family. Make memories. Take pictures and share with us!

2. If the roads are not safe, but a few of us are able to get to church then we will have a Livestream Service at 10. Pastor Brooks, myself, and a handful of others are prepared for this option. We encourage you to gather your family around the tv or computer for a brief time of worship and a message from Genesis 39 in our series , JOSEPH. The message will end with a few questions for your family to discuss together.

3. If the roads are safe, we will see you for a normal morning of worship. This includes 9:00 Sunday School and 10:00 Worship.

We will let you know Saturday night or early Sunday morning which option came to fruition. "How will I know?" Glad you asked.

Here is how you can know...

1. Your deacon will contact you. This is pretty straightforward. You will either get a call or a text from your deacon with this information.

2. If you are on our Remind Text List, you will receive this information through that medium as well.

3. We will share through our Social Media feeds the direction we felt was appropriate.

You will be able to find the appropriate information through these means. Have a wonderful and safe weekend. We pray to see you in some fashion for worship on Sunday morning.
